The Episode progression route
After your first clear, set Oath Level 1 or higher in Goddess Games for Episode 2. Later chapters require another increase. Clearing Episode 2 leads to Episode 3, then Episode 4.
An Episode is not the same thing as a World. Reaching World 3 does not by itself mean you are in Episode 3.
Bonboya Gate shows everything, but will not open
The October 16, 2026 developer notice describes a bug where the gate incorrectly shows melodies as collected before the required Dark Ratatan encounter counts are satisfied. At that time, the UI did not show which encounter count was missing.
- Check that you have cleared Episode 2, not simply World 2.
- Check your Oath selection and the chapter instructions already added to Help.
- If the gate looks complete but remains locked, retain your save and record your platform, version and the gate display.
- Check your platform’s patch notes for the specific chapter fix.
Do not delete your save to address this display bug. There is no reliable missing-boss checklist in that UI, so repeating an arbitrary boss a fixed number of times is not a guaranteed fix.
Patch timing
The developer was aiming for an early-next-week fix in the October 16 notice; release timing can differ by platform. The October 15 v1.1.11 hotfix addressed DLC application and should not be treated as the chapter fix.
