Find your way
Ratatan has eight playable leaders, available in the opening character selection. Each has a different passive and starting pair of Cobun classes; Dark Ratatan are bosses rather than eight additional playable leaders.
All charactersNine deployment slots are not the same as the maximum Cobun you can control during a battle. A v1.1.9 squad has nine starting slots while the battle HUD can reach MAX 18/18. Support Desk separates starting-Cobun upgrades from Melodium control-capacity upgrades.
9 slots vs 18 CobunRatatan supports online co-op for up to four players, but no local co-op on one system. To join a friend on the same platform, open multiplayer, choose friend matchmaking and enter the host’s room code. Welcome Mode is disabled in co-op.
Co-op & room codesThe October 16, 2026 developer notice says crossplay between Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2 is still in development and requires platform approval. Plan same-platform co-op rather than relying on cross-platform room codes.
